Social networking is a funny thing, isn't it? We learn about strangers, then we befriend them. Then something happens, and all hell breaks loose. And when I say "all hell", I mean the dreaded blank profile pic. Comments, wall posts, gifts once associated with someone you cared about...now, just a faceless stare. A recreation of the LeMons South E30 "Mark of Shame" stencil. From Murilee Martin:"As everyone who follows our 24 Hours Of LeMons coverage knows, we're all getting tired of the vast numbers of BMW E30s at the races. What to do? Give 'em the mark of shame! So, with some translation help from Franzouse's Austrian friends, I made a stencil showing a Mr. Yuck-enhanced BMW logo and the words "Noch Einer ScheiÃ�ï¿½Ã¯Â¿Â½Ã�Â¯Ã�Â¿Ã�Â½-E30" ("Yet Another Shitty E30"). Every E30 at LeMons South- and we're talking an endless parade here- got stenciled on every available surface, and most recipients were not very happy about it. The other teams were quite pleased, however, so it works out well. So, a message to you LeMons wannabes: before getting an E30, consider another car. Say, a Renault Fuego Turbo, or a VW Squareback!" As noted by the text, Eddy Merckx is the only rider in Tour de France history to win all three tour jerseys: Overall Classification (yellow), King of the Mountains (KoM, red polka dot), and Sprinters jersey (green).
