For the second time this year, a major world event has inspired me to create meaningful designs, instead of my usual attempts at humor based on the most relevant pop culture train wreck of the week [*cough* Charlie Sheen *cough*].
The design itself contains a few different elements:
Obviously, the central part of the image is the Rising Sun, from the Japanese Flag.
Mt. Fuji can be seen in the background, as it is close to the damaged region of the country, and many people are worried about a possible eruption after last week's quake.
The Biohazard symbol represents the horrific scene unfolding right now at Fukushima, which is getting worse by the hour. Hopefully a catastrophe can be averted.
The large crack you can see across the design was actually taken from a picture that most people are familiar with now, if they have been following this disaster in the news or online.
