Gray Horse Designs

Hi, my name is Sande Elkins. I created whimsical sculpture for over twenty-five years and sold them all over the world. Several years ago, I decided that I needed a new direction. I experimented with several different mediums but I didn't find my muse, my inspiration until my husband gave me a wonderful gift, a dapple gray beauty with flowing mane and tail. I called her Mouse and she was my first horse. Today, I have four horses with Mouse due to deliver another one next April. When Mouse came into my life, she brought me not only joy, she opened new doors for me of opportunity and creativity. Because of her, Gray Horse Designs was born. I now create equine art using photography, painting, sculpture and graphic design. Many of my designs feature my beautiful Mouse.
