About this shop
Why be regular? Irregular Apparel is the progressive clothing store established on Skreened by Irregular Times - the site with all the news that's unfit to print. Each and every shirt we offer here with Skreened is made sweatshop-free for your ethical clothing comfort.
We chose Skreened because Skreened has the same kind of values we have about clothes. We love to wear great looking shirts, but we don't like having a guilty conscience about the threads we wear and sell. Most clothing today is made in sweatshops where workers are abused and paid a pittance. Not here.

For each shirt sold, Irregular Times will chip in $1 in low-interest microloans to poor folks in the developing world, and will also donate $1 to progressive political causes right here in the USA.

This shirt, made ethically in the USA by American Apparel, is for the geek in your life who lives by scrupulous nonviolence in the real world but loves blasting away critters in the world of video games. An 8-bit pixelated action figure raises its laser pistol, with the mangled words of Mohandas Gandhi rewritten for virtual parody: First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you level up.

The perfect shirt to wear to a protest of opposition: out of the bold word NO rises a clenched fist of determined, defiant protest.

When it comes to the price of oil, and therefore the price of gas at the pump, we can blame greedy companies. We can blame governments. Those are legitimate targets of blame, but we also have to recognize that at least part of the blame lies with us and our behavior as well. When it comes to oil, the signs on the side of the highway should read Our Own Damn Fault.

Give this shirt as a gift to the PhD in your life who is a doctor, but not that kind of a doctor. Practically useless degrees that signify, hoorah! There's nothing wrong with a gentle dig at the pursuit of abstract academic achievement for its own sake, is there? Ask a Doctor of Philosophy.

When you wear this t-shirt, you show your admiration for the scientific theory of evolution and its encompassing understanding of life on Earth. The combined image of Charles Darwin, the planet Earth, and a tree representing the branching tree of life requires no further words to express this respect for the compelling model of evolutionary biology. This t-shirt makes the perfect gift for Darwin Day, February 12 of each year.

As an outrageous campaigner for Vice President, as an abusive Governor of Alaska, or as a crazed Fox News commentator, Sarah Palin is unhinged and dangerous to the sanity of the nation. You can help stop Sarah Palin with this activist tee shirt that makes your opposition to Palin clear without a single word crossing your lips. These shirts fit your values as well as your body - they're not made in overseas outsourced sweatshop factories. They're made in the USA, where working people are paid a fair wage and environmental standards keep us safe. Every time this shirt is sold, Irregular Times will dedicate $1 to microloans in the developing world and $1 to progressive political causes here at home.

This shirt is for the Hummer drivers you encounter on your walks about town. Show 'em the price of gas and ask, "Got Prius Envy?" Then watch their faces turn red as they reluctantly nod their heads.
Every time this shirt is sold, Irregular Times will send $1 overseas to a Kiva low-interest microloan fund to help indigenous development in the third world, and will donate $1 to a progressive political cause here in America.

They don't need faces. They don't need names. Just spoon 'em in, chew 'em up, spit 'em out. That's the U.S. Military for you.
